U.S. Army Removes ALL
University Preferences for
Assignment Postings

Among the available assignments for Captains on a current list sent to MRFF by a very shocked and appalled active duty Army officer, there are four ROTC Assistant Professor assignments. In parentheses next to one of the four, the one for Wheaton College, is the requirement "MUST BE OF CHRISTIAN FAITH."

U.S. Army Response Letter to MRFF

Letter Dated: Thursday, December 4, 2014
Received by MRFF Today, Friday, December 12, 2014

Selected Letter Excerpt

  • In general, the assignment policies for ROTC instructors are based upon a number of factors, which include but are not limited to the following: Army requirements, Soldier preferences, and characteristics the universities feel are necessary to make their students successful. We understand your concerns and have removed all university preferences from our assignment postings. Furthermore, senior Army leadership has reinforced the importance of full compliance with assignment policy practices and protocols at all levels.

Your Poor Wife

Mr. Weinstein your wife seems like so pretty. But is also even more so decieved.

Our own base chaplin noticed this first. If you look at the pictures of her in the news she has a demonic shadow over her face in all of them. And that shadow is the shadow of satan. It is the shadow of YOU Mr Weinstein. You are pure evil. You have doomed her to share your fate in the flames of hell eternal. You rebell against the Holy Gospel and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

But we know you for who and what you truly are. Satan get thee behind me!

Keep up the Good Fight

I was raised Catholic and was lucky enough to never be tought to take the bible literally and to accept and appreciate other cultures and religions. At 34 years of age I have grown out of a phase of atheism and am exploring my spiritual being. I am deeply offended by many evangelical Christians. I still celebrate all the catholic holidays with my family as they are more family traditions than deeply rooted religious celebrations. I support my nieces in their Catholic upbringing as they are attending the same liberal Catholic schools I attended. I feel very lucky my religious schooling included several years of world religion classes in high school. I attended a Jesuit school which many evangelical Christian conspiracy theorists claim is the order of priests connected with illuminati and all kinds of ither craziness. People have got to realize tge breed of fundamentalist Christians in this country are praying for the apocalypse.

Thank You for your Work!
