Authorities to investigate
Jay Sekulow Nonprofit after 'troubling' revelations

Authorities in two states are looking into a nonprofit led by an attorney to Donald Trump, after the Guardian reported it had steered tens of millions of dollars to the attorney, his family and their businesses.

Josh Stein, the attorney general of North Carolina, and Eric Schneiderman, the attorney general of New York, said on Wednesday they would be examining the operations of Jay Sekulow's group Christian Advocates Serving Evangelism (Case).

Stein said in a statement: "The reports I've read are troubling. My office is looking into this matter." [...]

WHOJay Alan Sekulow is a leading legal advocate for the Religious Right. The organization Sekulow heads, the ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice), was founded by TV preacher Pat Robertson to counter the American Civil Liberties Union and lower the wall of separation between church and state. Celebrating one courtroom win, Sekulow gushed, "Yes, the so-called 'wall of separation' between church and state has begun to crumble!"

Michael "Mikey" Weinstein, founder and president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, and his family have a long tradition of service in the United States armed forces.  However, Weinstein is now waging a different kind of war. Christianity teaches God created all human beings equal & it was very good (Genesis 1:27&31), the 2nd greatest Commandant is to love one's neighbor (Mark 12:31, Luke 10:27), & there is no difference between Jew & Gentile (Romans 10:12, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Galatians #:28)...Read More!

Dear (name withheld),

I don't know where you get your information but wherever you get it it is full of lies, omissions and distortions. What they fail to tell you is that not all Christians are treated equally in the military. Instead, they make it seem as if all Christians are being persecuted to further an agenda that does not include your faith...Read More Of This Ongoing Exchange!
