MILITARY RELIGIOUS
FREEDOM FOUNDATION HONORED TO ANNOUNCE NEW ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER

Retired USAF Brigadier General, Former Permanent Professor & Head, Dept. of Astronautics; Engineering Division Chair,
USAF Academy

Statement from USAF Ret. Brig. General
Marty France About Joining
MRFF's Advisory Board:

I've known Mikey Weinstein for almost 15 years—since the very founding days of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation. In my active duty service of more than 37 years, I saw first-hand the need for an organization like the MRFF, the value of what's been accomplished to date, and the need for continued vigilance. I worked closely with Mikey and the MRFF during my time at the US Air Force Academy as a Permanent Professor, all within the tight, but necessary, restrictions that one voluntarily accepts as a member of our military. In that time, I helped resolve countless issues that never made it into the press and was committed to helping the Air Force and its Academy become even more effective, while protecting the rights of military personnel that we all took an oath to defend.

Now that I've retired from active duty, I'm deeply honored to be invited to join the Military Religious Freedom Foundation's Advisory Board, serving alongside Mikey and so many other distinguished board members in a more visible way.

We have the greatest, most lethal military in world history, serving the richest, freest, most powerful nation on Earth—in large part because of our Constitution that strictly forbids the conflation of patriotism, service, and any one specific spiritual perspective. Having faced religious prejudice first-hand and suffered the consequences of leadership that feels comfortable (if not enthusiastic) about allowing their biases to shape organizational culture and repress those with opposing views, I'm in a unique position to help our soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, and civil servants within the DoD—and help our DoD leaders be more effective and understanding as well. I look forward to that challenge and will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Mikey and the superb MRFF staff to continue to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Thank you for this privilege.

Dear MRFF:

Thank you for your tireless support for religious freedom. It is comforting to know there is a place to turn for help when the religious overtones in the military become overbearing. In these time of hype-nationalism cloaked in religious expression, there needs a to be an advocate for the true meaning of the First Amendment.

Over the past several months, there has been a sharp increase in conservative Christian religious activities at my post. This trend is alarming and scary for those who are not a part of the religious right. As a mainline Protestant, I find these activities detrimental to the actual mission of the church.

[...]

...there has been a blurring of the line between leadership and a certain sect of Christianity. It feels like only those who follow this form of religion are welcome at my post and the only ones the chaplains are willing to serve.

Thank you again MRFF for being a voice of reason and civil rights activism. As a person of Christian faith, I believe in the importance of religion but also believe all religions and non-faith traditions should be allowed to freely practice.

Warmest Regards,

A concerned U.S. Active Duty Army Captain (name, MOS, assigned duty unit and U.S. Army installation all withheld)

Mikey,

Wouldn't it be better to name MRFF closer to your other org by just calling this one Military Freedom From Religion?  Then all the military men,
who have unresolved daddy issues like you sissies, can feel better about being marginal too.

Mickey is the reason nobody trusts or likes the jew tribe anywhere anyhow and anytime.

The jew is a death cancer to all clean human beings who submit and love The Son of God.

Historical leaders have tried to cut out this cancer but they never can quite get the job done right.

Mickey is a dirty jew amongst the dirtiest jews and is amongst the worst cancers of the dirty jew tribe.America will be great again when it prevents jew Mickey from his attacks on the military and his attacks on Christ Jesus.
