Commander-In-Chief' Billboard Rejected For Obama Visit"

[Mikey] Weinstein told the Washington Gadfly that Lamar Advertising abruptly informed his people today that the billboard was rejected for being factually incorrect. With characteristic measured language he called the rationale a "bullshit" pretext, noting that they used other equally provocative billboards he bought to challenge the Air Force Academy but none named Obama. The company, which once rejected then accepted a pro-Obamacare billboard that criticized a Republican congressman, seems, like many Washington players, rather non-partisan throne sniffers.[...]

"Sarcastic Billboard Asking Why Jesus Rules the Air Force Academy Rejected for Being Not Factual"

Say what you will about the message; it'll get everyone's attention. Unfortunately, Lamar Advertising said it won't put up the billboard. Mikey Weinstein, MRFF's President, told me last night that the reason they gave him was that the sign was "not factual."
Let me repeat that: Lamar won't put up the billboard because Jesus is not, in fact, the Commander in Chief. So much for sarcasm.

The presence of a religious symbol implies that our government, contrary to the spirit of the Constitution, is promoting a set of religious beliefs.[...]
Under pressure from the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, the VA clinics early this year removed Bibles from the Missing Man Table displays. That's when some religious groups joined the fray, as did the Congressional Prayer Caucus.[...]
