"Christian service members who openly profess and support the rights of Muslims, Buddhists, and all other anti-Christian worldviews to practice their religions - because the language in the Constitution permits - are grossly
in error,
and deceived."

Christians in U.S Military 'Serve Satan' if they Tolerate Other Religions, Air Force Chaplain Says
By: NEWSWEEK Nina Burleigh, September 15, 2017
A U.S. Air Force chaplain who ministers to thousands of men and women at an Ohio base is asserting that Christians in the U.S. Armed Forces "serve Satan" and are "grossly in error" if they support service members' right to practice other faiths.

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) has filed multiple requests that Hernandez be investigated by the Department of Defense's (DoD) inspector general. In a statement, the MRFF said it has received "many complaints" about Hernandez from service members over the last few years. It filed an official request with the DoD for an investigation in April, and filed a new complaint related to the BarbWire.com essay this week. The MRFF said the article "blatantly and indisputably advocates the subordinating of the U.S. Constitution to his personal Christian ideology and violated his Oath of Office as a commissioned officer, as well as Title 18, U.S. Code § 2387’s criminal prohibitions against counseling or urging insubordination, disloyalty, or 'refusal of duty' to other military members."

Chaplain Who Said There's 'No Such Thing as Transgenderism' Now Says Obeying Constitution Serves Satan
Friday, September 15, 2017
"Upon being commissioned or reenlisting in the United States military, all officers, including military chaplains, take the following oath:
"I , _____ , do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God.'"
Now, you would think that particularly to a chaplain, swearing an oath to God would make that oath inviolable, right? Not so in the case of Captain Sonny Hernandez, an Air Force Reserve chaplain for the 445th Airlift Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, who, in complete defiance of the oath that he swore to God to defend and bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution, has now publicly proclaimed that being loyal to the Constitution "serves Satan."

We Don't Need No Education - Americans FAIL on
Constitution Facts
Friday, September 15, 2017
"Human history becomes more and more a race between education and catastrophe." - H.G. Wells
I'm beyond infuriated at what the annual Annenberg Constitution Day Civics Survey revealed about my countrymen. Apparently, "Many Americans are poorly informed about basic constitutional provisions." That's putting it mildly.
Just in case anyone needs a refresher, here's the First Amendment:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
When asked what specific rights are guaranteed by the First Amendment, a whopping 37% couldn't name ANY rights associated with the First Amendment without prompting.
48% said freedom of speech. Only 15% named freedom of religion as a guaranteed right, followed by 14% who remembered freedom of the press, 10% who included right of assembly, and only 3% mentioning right to petition.
This means eighty-five percent of Americans do not immediately associate the First Amendment with freedom of religion, and nearly two-thirds of Americans can't name any of their First Amendment rights at all.

I am an active duty soldier, pagan & member of the US Army Chaplain Corps. This man does not represent the values our Corps says it stands for. He needs to be excised from our ranks!
