MRFF INTERCEPTS FOR THE WIN!
SOCIAL MEDIA PAGE LINKING TO USAFA TIGHT ENDS FOOTBALL COACH's CHRISTIAN EVANGELIZING TWEETS, COMPLETELY DELETED FROM OFFICIAL USAFA ATHLETIC WEBSITE!

USAFA's SOCIAL MEDIA PAGE DELETED WITHIN
TWO HOURS & FIFTEEN MINUTES FOLLOWING MIKEY WEINSTEIN's DEMAND LETTER EMAILED TO USAFA
SUPERINTENDENT LT. GEN. MICHELLE JOHNSON
Within two hours and fifteen minutes of the publication of MRFF's demand that the Air Force Academy either remove the link to the Christian evangelizing Twitter account of football coach Steed Lobotzke from the "Social Media" page on the official Air Force Academy athletics website, or prominently post a disclaimer on this official Academy website. The disclaimer was to have made it absolutely clear that the opinions expressed on the "personal" Twitter pages of any coach at the Academy are the personal opinions of the coaches and not those of the Academy, the Air Force, or the Department of Defense.
The Academy opted for a third solution, they deleted the entire "Social Media" page from their official athletics website!
MRFF represents 3 USAFA football players and 5 members of USAFA's athletic department in this horrendous debacle.

UPDATE: More about the
AFA coach tweeting salvation messages
UPDATE: After we pointed out that links to coaches' Twitter accounts were still available on the Air Force Academy's websites at 9:09 a.m. today, we asked the academy about that. We just received this message at 1:52 p.m. from the academy, "The links are no longer there."
ORIGINAL POST 12:29 PM, MONDAY, DEC. 12, 2016
After waiting for a week for a response from the Air Force Academy about why a football coach is using academy images and proselytizing comments in his Twitter account, the academy said it had removed from its website links to the athletic staff's Twitter handles. [...]

Air Force Academy Finds No Wrongdoing in Coach's Bible Tweets
The U.S. Air Force Academy said one of its football coaches did not violate school or Air Force policy when he posted Bible verses on his personal Twitter account.
Steed Lobotzke, in his second season as the Falcons' tight-end coach, came under fire from the Military Religious Freedom Foundation on Dec. 2 after the advocacy group targeted Lobotzke's tweets for championing his Christian beliefs.
[...]
For Mikey Weinstein, the founder and president of the foundation, the disclaimer on Lobotzke's bio does not end the issue.
"My response is that this is complete and utter bulls--- and there will be a lot more to come on this," he said in a response to the Colorado Springs Independent's IndyBlog, later reposted to the foundation's website. [...]

Anti-Religious Military Group Hysterical After Air Force Rules Coach Can Share Bible Verses
The Air Force Academy has determined a football assistant coach tweeting out Bible verses from his personal account is not in violation of any law or rule, despite howling from an anti-religious military group.
The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), run by Mikey Weinstein, loudly complained after Steed Lobotzke shared Bible verses on Twitter, The Gazette reports.
Lobotzke’s Twitter bio states that he’s a “Follower of Christ,” but it also explicitly states that his tweets from the account @CoachLobotzke are his own views.
In one example, Lobotzke tweeted out a Bible verse from John 3:3. [...]

Air Force finds nothing wrong with football assistant spreading Bible verses via Twitter
The Air Force Academy says Bible verses shared on social media by a football assistant coach were done so on a personal account and therefore not a violation of policy or law.
The Academy was responding to a request from the Military Religious Freedom Foundation to investigate what it called "Christian evangelizing via twitter, blatantly defying Air Force regulations."
The MRFF strongly disagreed that an account can be considered private simply by using a disclaimer. [...]
