Dominionist, Fundamentalist Evangelical Christians have made a great stride forward to take over the control of our United States Military.

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) is the only civil rights organization solely devoted to the Constitutionally guaranteed separation of church and state in the U.S. Military, serving the faithful and the non-faithful alike.

Christian dominionists, like Daesh [ISIS], see themselves as part of a Holy War. Some see the U.S. army as an army of Christian soldiers and even say so. MRFF has had to fight to get Bible verses off of weapons and to stop soldiers in uniform from handing out Christian tracts in the Middle East. MRFF has fought over and over to get crusader imagery off of U.S. military insignias.

Founded in 2005 by its President Michael L. "Mikey" Weinstein, MRFF has amassed achievement upon monumental achievement in the safeguarding of Constitutional compliance.  None of this would be possible without much needed donations from valued allies.

MRFF now represents well over 48,400 active duty Sailors, Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, Cadets, Midshipmen, National Guard and Reserve personnel, Coast Guard men and women and Veterans.  Approximately 96% of these MRFF clients are practicing Christians. About 3/4 of that 96% are Protestants from a plethora of denominations, while the remaining 1/4 are Roman Catholic. MRFF also represents a little over 17% of all Muslim Americans in the U.S. Armed Forces, as well as 943 LGBTQ clients. Approximately 4% of the 48,400-plus clients represented by MRFF are Jewish, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Native American Spiritualist, Agnostic, Atheist, Humanist, Secularist, and numerous other minority faiths.

MRFF is up against well-funded mega church extremist religious organizations. Your donations allow MRFF to continue fighting in the courts and in the media

Without your assistance, the forces of bigotry will succeed in their hideous ambition and will remain unchallenged as they seize the reins of our U.S. Military and its major service branches.

EMAIL TO MIKEY WEINSTEIN FROM A GRATEFUL MILITARY CHAPLAIN ENDORSER IN RESPONSE TO THE ABOVE ARTICLE "5 PEOPLE DONALD TRUMP SHOULD BE THANKFUL FOR..."

Mikey, I just saw the article “Five People Donald Trump Should Be Thankful For This Week,” in Charisma magazine and you were listed as a cause of the “voter back-lash” that has help elect Mr. Trump.   While this may or may not be true, you should be thanked for what you do.

... So I am thankful for you, Mikey!  Without you and MRFF out there on constant vigil, certain chaplains [who are credentialed  by faith groups who believe and demand that their chaplains are “missionaries and evangelists in uniform”] as well as other military leaders would be constantly violating proper boundaries, trampling all over military personnel’s rights (and sometimes chaplains’ rights!) to be left alone in their personal private beliefs and practices, and not proselytized, not brow-beat or shamed or coerced into Bible studies -- or forced to live as second class citizens (at best) in our “Christian” armed forces.  Sometimes these folks still “get over,” but more often than not, they know that you are watching and they don’t try it, or if they do, they work hard to be especially subtle and clever in their attempts to convert, persuade, and influence.

You deserve credit for improving the quality of chaplaincy and as well as the work and lifestyle cultures of the military as a whole.  Thank you.

From an “endorser” [a chaplain-credentialer on behalf of a faith group] who is committed to a chaplaincy that exists for the free exercise of religion and the accommodation of religion and worldviews -- for all military members and their families.  I am but one of many such endorsers who are thankful for you.

This ecclesiastical endorser is but one of the hundreds of Evangelical Christians that MRFF serves each year to protect our nation’s men and women in uniform from harassment and discrimination.

Onward, Christian Soldiers!
