court-martialed for speech

-
The Military Religious Freedom Foundation has called for Olson to be "aggressively and very visibly brought to justice for his unforgivable crimes and transgressions" by a court-martial, adding that any other service members who helped him should be investigated and punished "to the full extent of military law."
-
The speech was live-streamed by GOD TV online and recorded by the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, said Chris Rodda, senior research director for the group. Video on the National Day of Prayer Task Force's website does not include Olson's speech because it only shows three hours of the four-hour event and his speech was at the end.
-
Mikey Weinstein, CEO of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, has sent a blistering letter to Chief of Staff Gen, Mark Welsh, arguing that Olson's comments violate an Air Force instruction, which prohibits airmen from endorsing a particular faith or belief

Air Force General Defies/Defiles Law By Witnessing for Jesus in Full Uniform on Worldwide TV

That terrible warning to the USA, often attributed to the first American writer to ever win the Nobel Prize in Literature (1930), the great Sinclair Lewis, is now more terribly applicable than EVER; "When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross."
That time has come, my friends, and it's BEEN coming for quite a while now.
The United States Military has undergone a slow-motion fundamentalist Christian coup d'état. On perhaps no other occasion has this been made clearer than in the brazenly illegal, anti-Constitutional, and wholly theocratic speech delivered on Capitol Hill by United States Air Force Major General Craig Olson to the assembled guests at a 2015 National Day of Prayer Task Force event on May 7, 2015. Unbeknownst to most Americans, yet broadcasted internationally via fundamentalist evangelical television (seriously, it's actually called "GOD TV") and internet streams, the uniformed Major General's insipid 20-minute sermon revealed the frightening face of viciously intolerant, Christo-fascistic religious extremism run amok throughout the U.S. Armed Forces. The worldwide and national security implications of such a Christian supremacist force unleashed throughout our armed service branches is staggeringly high, yet the issue mournfully remains largely ignored by the lassitude and willful ignorance of mainstream press outlets. - The Air Force Times reports that the Military Religious Freedom Foundation has taken issue with Olson’s remarks, is calling for the two-star general to be court-martialed and "aggressively and very visibly brought to justice for his unforgivable crimes and transgressions."
- The letter, posted on the group's website, begins, "This demand letter is sent to you on behalf of countless members of the United States Air Force who are utterly disgusted and shocked by the brazenly illicit and wholly unconstitutional, fundamentalist Christian proselytizing recently perpetrated, on international television ("GOD TV"), and streaming all over the Internet and in full military uniform, by USAF Major General Craig S. Olson on Thursday, May 7, 2015 during a VERY public speech for a private Christian organization (The "National Day of Prayer Task Force": NDPTF) headed up by Focus on the Family founder, Dr. James Dobson’s, wife Shirley Dobson."
- The group, which believes that the American flag and the U.S. Constitution are the only religious symbol and scripture, respectively, for those who serve in the military, also wants other service members who helped Olson to be investigated and punished "to the full extent of military law."
