The photo was taken this morning, 17 May 2018 at 0740. I wish to remain anonymous. I am (current military status withheld) [ ] the Air Force. I was raised Catholic and attended Catholic School in grades 3-6. I converted to (religious faith withheld) to honor my father, a genetic (religious ethnicity withheld) when I was in my (age range withheld). My father was adopted and the information about his heritage did not surface until I was an adult. I have been (religious preference or no-preference withheld) for many years.

2LT. Nikita G. Thorpe, the pictures below were recently taken by MRFF clients at your installation's dining facility... Colonel Stacy Jo Huser, Commander 90th Missile Wing, Air Force Global Strike Command at F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming, wrote to me by letter, in an email transmitted to me by you, in mid-May (May 18, 2018) kindly taking MRFF's complaint under advisement & further assuring me that she was looking into this unfortunate matt... Two months later and we’ve heard nothing bac... However, the Constitutionally-offending bible is still quite prominently displayed on the POW/MIA table in direct defiance of Air Force instruction 1-1, Section 2.12 to say nothing of the United States Constitution, it's construing Federal and State caselaw as well as additional Department of Defense and US Air Force directives instructions and regulations...?...Our MRFF clients under Col. Huser's command remain resolute in their most fervent objection to this blatant display of fundamentalist Christian supremacy, domination and exceptionalism... I'm grateful they [MRFF's current 36 USAF clients at F.E. Warren AFB] felt comfortable contacting you for your advocacy.  Our chaplains are purchasing a generic "book of faith" on Thursday and will let me know when that book is expected to arrive.  Until it arrives, I've asked them to rotate the book placed on the table (rotate it through various faiths).  Yesterday they placed the Book of Mormon on the table.  I will contact you again when our permanent "book of faith" is on display.

Thank you again for taking care of our Airmen.  One of my focus areas is increasing a sense of belonging for all our Airmen a large part of that effort is ensuring that the religious and non-religious feel included and cared for.

Thanks SO much, Stacy... Appreciate the actions you're taking here...Naturally, some of our USAF clients concerns on even having a "book of faith" on that table is that it would likely still alienate those who provide excellent service to the United States Air Force, the Department of Defense and our country but claim NO "faith" whatsoever... Atheists, agnostics, humanists, secularists...I have never heard of a generic book of faith and I'm concerned that it might still be slanted towards the majority faith in this country; Christianity?! You know... that being the case, would it be possible to have that "generic book the faith" simply have blank pages in it as some of the other installations have done?...With great respect and gratitude, Mikey

Yes sir, my understanding is that is exactly what it is.  It's more like a journal with blank pages like you describe.  That way we aren't emphasizing a particular faith, or any religion at all.  I'm glad to hear other installations are doing the same!
