Subject: FE Warren AFB Bible Still Illicitly Displayed?!

2LT. Nikita G. Thorpe, the pictures below were recently taken by MRFF clients at your installation's dining facility... Colonel Stacy Jo Huser, Commander 90th Missile Wing, Air Force Global Strike Command at F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming, wrote to me by letter, in an email transmitted to me by you, in mid-May (May 18, 2018) kindly taking MRFF's complaint under advisement & further assuring me that she was looking into this unfortunate matt... Two months later and we’ve heard nothing bac... However, the Constitutionally-offending bible is still quite prominently displayed on the POW/MIA table in direct defiance of Air Force instruction 1-1, Section 2.12 to say nothing of the United States Constitution, it's construing Federal and State caselaw as well as additional Department of Defense and US Air Force directives instructions and regulations...?...Our MRFF clients under Col. Huser's command remain resolute in their most fervent objection to this blatant display of fundamentalist Christian supremacy, domination and exceptionalism... Please kindly advise ASAP before we move on to other steps...... Thank you... Mikey Weinstein... Founder and President, Military Religious Freedom Foundation... Standing by at 505-250-7727...

Mr. Weinstein -

I'm grateful they [MRFF's current 36 USAF clients at F.E. Warren AFB] felt comfortable contacting you for your advocacy.  Our chaplains are purchasing a generic "book of faith" on Thursday and will let me know when that book is expected to arrive.  Until it arrives, I've asked them to rotate the book placed on the table (rotate it through various faiths).  Yesterday they placed the Book of Mormon on the table.  I will contact you again when our permanent "book of faith" is on display.

Thank you again for taking care of our Airmen.  One of my focus areas is increasing a sense of belonging for all our Airmen a large part of that effort is ensuring that the religious and non-religious feel included and cared for.

Take care -

Thanks SO much, Stacy... Appreciate the actions you're taking here...Naturally, some of our USAF clients concerns on even having a "book of faith" on that table is that it would likely still alienate those who provide excellent service to the United States Air Force, the Department of Defense and our country but claim NO "faith" whatsoever... Atheists, agnostics, humanists, secularists...I have never heard of a generic book of faith and I'm concerned that it might still be slanted towards the majority faith in this country; Christianity?! You know... that being the case, would it be possible to have that "generic book the faith" simply have blank pages in it as some of the other installations have done?...With great respect and gratitude, Mikey

Yes sir, my understanding is that is exactly what it is.  It's more like a journal with blank pages like you describe.  That way we aren't emphasizing a particular faith, or any religion at all.  I'm glad to hear other installations are doing the same!

Oh, that is just FANTASTIC, Stacy!... If you would please be so kind as to advise after the following two things;(1) regarding what other faith's book besides the Mormon faith will be rotated through that POW/MIA table and, (2), when that "generic book of faith" is placed on the table... So very appreciative, Mikey... 505-250-7727

"Prayer Group in Russia Case
Had Envoy to Eastern Europe
in GOP Congressman"

Tuesday, July 17, 2018

By: Ken Klippenstein | TYT Network
Date: July 17, 2018

A secretive Christian political group alluded to in Monday's criminal complaint against an alleged Russian agent sent a conservative Christian congressman on multiple trips to eastern European nations friendly with Russia, federal records show.

The National Prayer Breakfast is organized by The Fellowship Foundation, a Christian group based in Washington that is famously secretive. Its members take a vow of silence about Fellowship activities.

Russian President Vladimir Putin's stands on a range of issues from Islamic terrorism to gay rights have won him fans among America's conservative evangelical community. The number of Russians attending the National Prayer Breakfast reportedly has increased sharply in recent years.

"If Russia is doing this, [the National Prayer Breakfast] would be a fabulous way to meet these people, the people who are propping up Trump," Mikey Weinstein, president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, told TYT. Weinstein, who has researched the group in the past, said that it skews heavily toward Republican evangelicals.

"Everyone who's anyone who has the requisite fundamentalist views wants to be there," Weinstein said. "This is the Super Bowl."

In addition to meetings alluded to in the affidavit, and the trips to eastern Europe, the Fellowship may also have significant business interests in Russia, one author who has written about the Fellowship told TYT.

Jeff Sharlet is an American investigative journalist who wrote a detailed report on the Fellowship for Harper's Magazine and later wrote a book on it.

"The Importance of MRFF for Civil and Religious Liberty"

Subject: The Importance of MRFF for Civil and Religious Liberty

To: Mikey Weinstein

I am a senior Navy Christian Chaplain and have been an admirer of MRFF for many years. I have watched and read about the cases that Mikey and MRFF have administratively prosecuted, litigated and military members that they have otherwise served and have always been impressed.

What MRFF does is important for the civil and religious rights and freedoms of all Americans, even people that routinely oppose them and the causes of those that they represent. This is because they understand just how precious religious liberty is to all.

MRFF's Fast, Positive Effect
On My Case

SubjectMRFF’s Fast, Positive Effect On My Case

To: Mikey Weinstein

I am a senior military chaplain of the Christian faith who was accused by a member of my congregation of Conduct Unbecoming an Officer and Contempt for the President of the United States for the content of a sermon preached during the Christian worship service I conducted very recently in my military base chapel. Instead of coming to me to discuss his complaint, he went directly to my Commander who was obligated to launch a preliminary investigation regarding the charges. When the Investigating Officer called me in to make a statement I demurred and said I that would only make a statement if I was represented by legal counsel. The complainant was a conservative Christian older retiree and avid supporter of President Trump. Supreme Court Justice Robert Jackson and the organizer of the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials wrote about men just like...
