I was one of the 16 military and civilian members you represented at Langley AFB in objecting to a series of sexist and theistic posters displayed in an ACC building. I just wanted to update you that, as of today, every picture in that series has been removed (photo attached).  I wanted to pass my sincere gratitude to you and the MRFF for holding ACC leadership to regulations (AFI 1-1) and to equal representation of all Airmen and civilians regardless of sex, race, or religion (to include none).

Posters removed at Langley AFB following religious complaints

Monday, February 27, 2017

Several posters were removed from a wall at Langley Air Force Base after the Military Religious Freedom Foundation and the National Organization for Women complained that they showed a preference for religious airmen and were sexist, the foundation said Monday.

Seven posters on display at Air Combat Command's headquarters contained quotes from the Air Force Manual dating back to 1955 at the height of the Red Scare when not being religious was considered by some as a trait of communism. [...]

Victory for Women in the Military: Sexist Religious Posters Removed from Air Force Base

Monday, February 27, 2017

A set of seven blatantly sexist posters at Air Combat Command (ACC) headquarters at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Virginia has been removed.

The posters, which were first brought to the attention of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) by an Air Force officer (who was joined by fifteen other USAF officer, NCO, and civilian clients, nine of whom were women) because the messages on two of the seven, as the officer put it, "clearly advocate a higher value in religious Airmen over non-religious Airmen, and communicate a necessity for religious faith to be successful as Airmen," which, as the officer noted, was a violation of Air Force Instruction 1-1, Section 2.12 of which states (emphasis added):

"Leaders at all levels... must ensure their words and actions cannot reasonably be construed to be officially endorsing or disapproving of, or extending preferential treatment for any faith, belief, or absence of belief."

But, as the officer also noted, the message that religious airmen were superior to non-religious airmen wasn't the only problem with these posters. With the quotes on all seven posters coming from a completely outdated Red Scare era Air Force Manual from 1955, the posters were also blatantly sexist. [...]

Active Duty US Army Soldier Expresses Gratitude!

From: Active Duty U.S. Army Enlisted Soldier’s E-Mail Address Withheld
Subject: army priority to come to jesus

To Mr. Weinstein,

Me and my 4 fellow soldiers here at Fort (name withheld) wanted to thank you for talking to our (superior unit's name withheld) commander about our (subordinate unit's name withheld) commander's statements about Jesus.

(Subordinate commander's name withheld) talked to me and my battle buddies and our whole (unit name withheld) about the Christian faith which he made at a mandatory attendance formation on Feb. (date withheld), 2017.

He said that as far as he "(subordinate commander's name withheld) was concerned it was an Army priority to come to the Lord Jesus Christ." He even went on for another 5 minutes about this same thing. What are we supposed to do? How messed up is that to say to your soldiers? We have plenty of nonchristian soldiers in our (unit's name withheld) include some of my battle buddies. We all were pissed. He don't have the right to hit us with that Jesus shit.

Nobody said nothing because he's our commander. If you call him out your just done and he knows that. But even though I am Christian even I know that what he said to us is wrong. So we call you Mr. Weinstein and you handle it for us all. You talked to higher command and our (enlisted position rank withheld) Sergeant (name withheld)  told some of us that our commander had been ‘counseled" by the (superior unit's name withheld) commander to stop doing for what he said. Don't know exactly what that means for our commander but we think it is good for us soldiers. And not for our commander.

If he tries to do this Christian talk again to us we will call you again too. But we don't think he will because we already had another mandatory (subordinate unit's name withheld) formation yesterday and he didn't do it then. And didn't even do a prayer to Jesus to start the meeting as he always did before. He said nothing about Jesus.

Thank you all at the MR Freedom Foundation for fixing this shit for us.

Please do not use my name or any other stuff that could get us in trouble for seeking help outside of the Army to stop what (name, rank and unit's name withheld) was saying to us about Jesus. Thank you all again so much. From me and my homies here at Fort (name withheld).

(Active Duty U.S. Army enlisted soldier's name, rank, MOS, unit and assigned installation all withheld)

Enough with the Jews already

Mr. Mikey with the Jewish last name,
We’re sick of hearing that bullshit about how the Jews don’t get equal treatment by the marines and all.
Who cares if they can’t put up their minhorah for Hanikkah?

The Jews owe a debt to every Christian who has fought in America’s wars to allow them to even be allowed to reside in our nation.
After getting kicked out everywhere else in The Lord’s Green Earth for doing your typical Jew treachery America still lets you stay. Know your Jew place Mr. Mikey.

Some gratitude would be nice from you Jews. Instead of biting off the hands of Christians marines and soldiers who feed you all.

Stay out of San Diego and the marines there.
Christmas season for the marines is for CHRISTIANS.
Not for Jews.

Not a Jews’ place to complain about the nativity scene at MCRD.
Jews don’t like it then just don’t look at it.

Mr. Mikey Likes It only if the MRRF shits on Christians.
Christians are the owners of this US of A.

Jews and the others are guests and guests better learn to behave.

Make America Great Again!
Keep Christ in Xmas 2017!

Response from MRFF Advisory Board Member Mike Farrell

Hey punk who hides his ignorance and bigotry behind a fake address.
I went through MCRD when you were probably in diapers. And judging from the colossal stupidity of your rant, you’re probably still wearing them.

Read the Constitution if you can, punk, and think about it.
