An advocacy group has filed an official complaint with the Defense Department's Inspector General's Office to investigate a blog, christianfighterpilot.com, and potentially bring corrective action against its alleged owner, Air Force Lt. Col. Jonathan C. Dowty.

Mikey Weinstein, president and founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, said his organization -- which believes the blog to be in violation of Air Force standards and the Uniform Code of Military Justice -- is seeking a full investigation after the blog published a piece insinuating incoming Air Force Academy superintendent Brig. This is an update to my post from last week, in which I promised that MRFF would be making an official demand for an an investigation into LtCol Jonathan "The Christian Fighter Pilot" Dowty's accusing BGEN(S) Kristin Goodwin, the first lesbian Commandant of Cadets at the Air Force Academy, of being a liar. The official demand for an investigation, which lists and explains every policy, regulation, and law that this fine "Christian" officer, in his homophobic zeal, violated or potentially violated by publicly and unfoundedly calling his superior officer a liar, has now been sent by MRFF's attorneys to the Deputy Inspector General for Administrative Investigations, and can be read here.
